Industry
GENERAL CONTRACTOR is a person, firm or corporation that enters into a contract with an Owner and who, in the performance of his work, hires other
contractors. (This classification includes Management Contractors)
TRADE CONTRACTOR is a person, firm or corporation having a direct
contract with a contractor to perform a part or parts of the work. (This
classification shall include sub-sub-contractors).
Professional
Associate
without voting privileges, is a person, firm or corporation that acts in a supportive nature to businesses.
Manufacturers & Suppliers
is a person, firm or corporation that supplies products to a construction project. (This classification includes Insurance Companies, Bonding Companies, etc.)
Public Owner
is reserved for municipalities, towns and regional districts, school districts, colleges and universities, health and other authorities, Crown corporations, and other public-sector agencies that are engaged in infrastructure planning and procurement. Such membership shall carry no fees unless the option to have voting rights is exercised.
